The Ryan Thing

Everyone and their dog has commented on the Ryan thing. In a lot of cases it seems to mostly have been the dogs, salivating over Ryan's courage. I've not posted on it, but I think this snippit from Matt Taibbi pretty much gets it:

Ryan’s gambit, ultimately, is all about trying to get middle-class voters to swallow paying for tax cuts for rich people. It takes chutzpah to try such a thing, but having a lot of balls is not the same as having courage.
