Rosenberg Daily Soundbites

  • Equity markets are turning in a rather mixed performance in Europe but were down fairly sharply and across the board in Asia
  • Market recap: The technicals are u-g-l-y and the fundamentals aren’t so pretty either. Sell in May and go away doesn’t seem so cliché all of a sudden
  • The Fed wants - and needs - lower bond yields
  • Big wage decline coming*
  • Survey says … We realize that a whole slate of Fed and regional/national ISM surveys showed the U.S. economy to be at a turning point. There are a number of other survey data points that receive scant attention and ratify that view

*Bill - I have not read the in-depth on this. I'll post on it if I see anything.
